I’ve always enjoyed making things. Whether that’s videos, canal boat art or drawings of mundane moments I enjoy the process of creativity. I am proudly Worcestershire-based and hope to encourage more creativity and arts in the area.

I love folk art, it’s also a way in which the mundane has been made beautiful. It’s filled with snippets of real life made by everyday people. In my art I have tried to capture things that perhaps no-one would consider going to the trouble of painting, like a road junction, a lay-by or a local swimming pool’s corridor. Maybe it’s because I feel sorry for them that they’re so often overlooked in favour of traditionally beautiful subjects like a really lovely tree or something.

I believe that everyone should do something creative. Whether that’s painting, music, writing stories or building weird sculptures out of scrap it’s beautifully human to make things.
